Mr. Mutoh spent over forty years working in the public sector and has been Chairman of DIR since 2008. Recently, Mr. Mutoh made the opening remarks at IMF and World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2012 held in Tokyo. Mr. Mutoh and DIR proposed the establishment of the Eastern Japan Great Earthquake Reconstruction Fund right after the earthquake on March 11, 2011. Prior to Daiwa, Mr. Mutoh was Deputy Governor of the BOJ from 2003, and was engaged in the lifting of the zero-interest-rate monetary policy. He was appointed administrative vice minister of Finance in 2000, and was engaged in the planning and execution of the financial policy for successive cabinets. |

Mr. Shibata has played an important role in strengthening Japan-China financial cooperation. He has been responsible for JGB overseas IR since July 2012. From 2008 to 2012, he worked in Beijing for four years as a Financial Counselor in the Embassy of Japan in China. During 2005 to 2007, he was assigned to the Deputy Budget Examiner in the Budget Bureau of the MOF, taking part in fiscal consolidation and the development of many policy fields such as energy, manufacturing industries, IT, governmental institutionsf reform, subsidiaries reform etc. Earlier, he was engaged in banking supervising policy in the FSA, contributing to resolving the Non-Performing Loan problem and bailing out some regional banks from 2000 to 2004. |

Mr. Davis joined Daiwa as a Yen Bond trader and subsequently ran that section in London. He has worked for Daiwa in Hong Kong and Tokyo, and spent over seven years on trading and sales across all Fixed Income products. His main focus since returning from the Far East has been Yen Bond sales in London. |

Career: |
Mr. Scicluna heads Daiwafs research capacity on the major European economies and non-Asian emerging markets, while also working closely with Daiwafs analysts in Tokyo to lead Daiwa Europefs research on Japanfs economy and financial markets. Prior to joining Daiwa in 2005, Mr. Scicluna spent more than eight years as an economist at the UK Treasury. He had a range of roles, including as head of the European economic analysis team, and earlier advised on the Asian and emerging market financial crises during the second half of the 1990s. Mr. Scicluna also worked for three years at the European Commission developing policy relating to the functioning of the euro and European financial regulation. |

In July 2011, Mr. Brown was appointed Head of the Fixed Income Division at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe, reporting to the CEO. In 2006 he joined the Debt Syndication department as Head of Financial Institutions, after which he moved again to Singapore as Head of Debt Syndication in Asia. After some two and a half years in this role, he was recalled to London in late 2010 to take up a new position as Deputy Head of Fixed Income, and Head of Debt Syndication & MTNs. Mr. Brown joined Daiwa Capital Markets in 2001 as Head of Credit Sales within the Fixed Income Division in London, having previously gained some 20 yearsf experience in Fixed Income markets with leading financial institutions in a variety of trading and sales roles in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo. |

Mr. Yamamoto joined Daiwa in 1992. He has developed his entire career life with FICC sectors. He is currently the chief strategist of the bond research group, who specializes in the world economy and the global markets. He delivers insightful analysis on the market, which is evaluated highly by both Japanese and non-Japanese investors. Before that, he headed the international bond trading in 2010. Mr. Yamamoto worked in Bond Trading Department since 1996 and transferred to Daiwa Capital Markets America Inc as the Primary Dealer of US Treasury from 2001 to 2007. |

Dr. Kurokawa chaired the Parliamentary commissioned independent task force on the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster from December 2011 to July 2012. He also worked as president and/or executive officers for many prestigious national and international professional societies in medicine, nephrology, science academies and science policy. He served as Science Advisor for the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture from 2004 to 2005, Science Advisor of the Cabinet from 2006 to 2008 and worked at Committee for Science and Technology Policy from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Kurokawa also served as Professor of the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Tokyo from 1989 to 1996 and Dean & Professor of the Tokai University School of Medicine and Director of the Institute of Medical Sciences from1996 to 2002. |
